Back at Kennedy HQ in Boston, they are biding their time. They have ridden out the Clinton and Obama storms.
Now they probably think it’s possibly only four years.
When they sent this guy into politics, it wasn’t to be a Congressman.
He’s Joseph P Kennedy III.
Currently Congressman, grandson of Bobby, grandnephew of JFK, great grandson of Joe Kennedy. Law Graduate from Harvard (sound familiar) Never heard of him? You will.
He emerged as a major Democratic voice against the Republican health care bill,
Kennedy challenged House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., who had called the GOP replacement bill an “act of mercy.”
“With all due respect to our speaker, he and I must have read different scripture,” Kennedy said. “The one that I read calls on us to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to shelter the homeless, and to comfort the sick. It reminds us that we are judged not by how we treat the powerful, but how we care for the least among us.”
He added: “This is not an act of mercy. It’s an act of malice.”
Watch as the media that has been derided by Trump begins to throw its influence in behind Kennedy contrasting the hope and aspiration of the Kennedy dynasty with the sordid commercialism and nepotism of the Trump family.
It’s a script made in heaven.
